Hailing from Sao Paulo in Brazil Firefriend. Firefriend are Julia Grassetti, bass and vocals
Caca Amaral - Drums and Yury Hermuche on guitar and vocals. They are part of the underground resistance and with this forthcoming release on Little Cloud Records and Cardinal Fuzz Firefriend have creted their magnum opus in "Avalanche". An aural document of the Nihilistic storm that is part of living in the 21st century.
Firefriend pull the threads that links the great subversive bands of the 60's through into the 80's and beyond to create something that feels like a bit of everything that thread ever touched - from the Velvet Underground to Spacemen 3 via John Coltrane, W.Burroughs, Louis Ferdinand Céline and Jean-Luc Godard. Their sound doesn't rush to the pop hook or stall itself in the crunchy riffs, it glides above everything else in its own orbit, echoing the best parts of psychedelic, shoegaze, and noise by taking it all into strange new fields of bliss. Do yourself a favor. Turn the music on, the lights off, and let yourself go.

Entrance is a beautiful opener. Nana literally has a sitar solo at the end which is insane... Nothing more needs to be said. Majupose has a sick bassline and it's in 7/4 which is cool, and Dripping Sun is a sonic experience that speeds up and down through multiple time signatures. This album is definitely the chillest thing they've released so far. Also the first vinyl I've bought on Bandcamp :)
CRAZY PSYCHEDELIC ALBUM!!! naakz

Literally one of my favourite ep's of all time, made by one of my favourite bands of all time!!! Insane psychedelic sounds on all tracks but Tree Smoke and Lazy Stoned Monk are on another level. Ze No Senaka also has a super cool Black Sabbath vibe to it which can also be heard during the last half of Tree Smoke.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ALBUM!!! naakz
